Daniel has been providing specialised business and taxation advice to some of Toowoomba’s most successful small and medium-sized businesses since joining Synergy in 2007. 

As Director, Daniel serves as an integral part of the Synergy leadership team, responsible for developing creative, yet precise business solutions for every one of his valued clients.

Prior to Synergy, Daniel worked in London, during which time he developed a wealth of knowledge and experience dealing with asset valuation, tax optimisation, commercial lending and cost management. He now applies these skills to a wide variety of increasingly complex, yet simultaneously demanding projects across his client base.

Since 2007, Kathy has played an integral role at Synergy Accountants, providing professional advice to a broad range of small and medium businesses in the areas of tax, business growth and improvement, asset protection, business structuring, and succession.

Kathy specialises in the preparation and submission of private ruling applications to the Australian Taxation Office and has extensive knowledge of the taxation consequences and opportunities associated with compensation arrangements in relation to mining and gas compensation agreements.

Ross specialises in helping clients who are new to operating a business and really gets a kick out of helping them get their business started and growing it with them. He’s a firm believer in setting goals early and linking these with everyday tasks to achieve future success.

Working closely with Managing Director Angie Barnard has seen Ross assisting clients with workforce planning and processes, and setting business values, and gains great satisfaction from seeing the right people in the right positions and therefore reducing the business owner’s workload and stress.

Brendan joined Synergy Business Finance in April 2022 and, along with Marcus, oversees all the commercial and residential finance for our diverse range of clients.

As a previous small business owner Brendan understands the importance of having the right finance solutions available and in place to ensure a business can grow. And, whilst finding a finance solution for a client is always rewarding, it is the long-term partnerships and relationships that Brendan is passionate about. Working with clients to grow their business, find their dream home or start their investment property journey are the rewards that make finance broking so fulfilling.
